Day Narrowboat Hire - from £110

Enjoy a day out along the canal in our purpose built day canal boat. Designed for all weathers, it accommodates up to twelve people, allowing them to enjoy a fabulous day out in the English countryside.

Our day boat provides comfortable enclosed seating in the main and outer saloons. The outer saloon has removable side windows to allow the sun in during good weather and provides protection for rainy days.

From as little as £9.17 per person when booked by a party of twelve there are few other days out in Britain that offer you such value for money.

When you arrive at our base, full instruction in the handling and features of your boat will be given.

Your boat will be ready for you at 10:00 am and should be returned by 6:00 pm or sunset (whichever is earliest).

Your time allows you a full day to explore the surrounding canals, stopping for a bite to eat or perhaps a pub lunch.

Here's what one of our customers had to say ......

A Life on the Ocean Wave

We awoke with great excitement, for our day had come at last

To hoist the Jolly Roger and raise the anchor cast

But as we approached our vessel, warning shots across the bow

Told us not to sail the seas, at least not for now

The sky was dark and menacing. The thunder cracked and boomed

And when the lightening flashed, we thought our sailing trip was doomed

So off we went to find the café, for refreshments to partake

And as we ate our bacon rolls the clouds began to break

Soon after we were piped aboard, the galley stashed with food

And when the sun came out it warmed and brightened up our mood

The captain and his mates stood to, they learned to use the rudder

Their right hands set a steady course, with alcohol in the other

We heard the mating call of ducks. The swan and babes in clover

For very soon they learned that we had sandwiches left over

A heron standing on the bank, moorhens scuttling past

A cloudless sky and gentle breeze, how long could this day last

We turned around and sailed for home, it's motley crew then tired

But a perfect day was had aboard the "Day Cruise Boat For Hire"
